Raymond Arthur May

Raymond worked as an electrician until retirement. He loved to cook, was great at fixing things, had the best "dad" jokes, loved spending time with his family, but especially his grandkids. Raymond enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Faye May, his parents, and a sister, Carolyn Hodnett.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Alan May and his wife, Lauren, Aaron May and his wife, Suzanne, and David May and his wife, Allison; daughter, Angela May; grandchildren, Austin Navarre, Christian May, Jonathan May, Samantha Weintraub, Logan Ozolins, McKenna Ozolins, Collyn May, Kellan May, Hannah May, Amanda Rivers, Ashley May, and Ray May; great-grandchildren, William, Rueben, Azriel, Ronin, Braxton, Jayce, Luke, and David; and two brothers, Bobby May and Buddy May.

Family will receive friends from Noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m., July 31, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Welsh. Rev. Pat Deshotel will officiate.

Thank you to Golden Age of Welsh for all of the wonderful care both he and his wife received while residents there. Also, thank you to Heart of Hospice for their kindness and support towards the end.
