Abraham Hernandez, 46, left to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born to Jose Luis & Josefina Hernandez on August 9, 1977 in Harlingen, Texas. Abraham loved playing football and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. He is now reunited with his father, Jose Luis Hernandez and sister Aurora Hernandez; who have preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Josefina Hernandez; siblings: Maria San Miguel, Lydia (Alvaro) Torres, Susana (Sam) Sol, Jose Luis (Maria) Hernandez, Noemi (Reynaldo Martinez) Hernandez and Jesse (Lori) Hernandez. He will also be greatly missed by 23 nephews and nieces.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco followed by an entombment at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
