Bertha Evangelina Castillo

While she will be missed by all who loved her, we are thankful that she is again in the arms of her beloved husband of 47 yrs Edelmiro (Eddie) Zamora Castillo Sr. who passed away 18 years before.

Bertha and her husband were blessed with 5 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She is survived by her son Edelmiro Castillo Jr. (Tammy Lynn), daughter Belinda (Gilberto Mata Jr +), daughter Norma (Randy West), son Homer Castillo, son Aaron Castillo (Jennifer Lee Castillo).

Surviving grandchildren: Vanessa Lynette Mata (LeeRoy Perez), Rebecca Evangelina Mata (Jerry Ledesma), Carlos Gilberto Mata, Jena Lea West, Blake Hunter West, Trey River Castillo and great-grandson Josiah Perez.

Bertha leaned on her faith, loved her family and her church. Her Catholic faith was an essential part of her life. She was known to be found reciting the rosary every morning and evening on behalf of her family.Our beloved mother was the rock of our family, and selflessly gave of herself to take care of her spouse, children and grandchildren. She also assisted her husband in his successful electrical business known as Eddie’s Electric.

Mom, you left us with beautiful memories and your love will forever be our guiding light.
