Hermion was the heart and foundation of his family—a strong, hardworking, selfless, and kind man whose life was defined by love, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, and to many, he was simply one of a kind.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Flor Estella Torres, and their cherished children: Anna Laura Torres, Bernice Torres, Hermion Torres Jr., Gilberto Torres, Veronica Tello, Maria Guadalupe Torres, Jaime Torres, Griselda Torres, and David Torres, along with his numerous grandchildren who were a constant source of pride and joy.
Affectionately known as “The Goat” and “The Legend,” Hermion was also proudly regarded as the best father-in-law. Family meant everything to him, and he made sure those around him always felt supported, protected, and deeply loved. He set a strong foundation for generations to come—one built on hard work, faith, respect, and unity.
Hermion found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved gardening, caring for his beloved pet parrots Ruby and Pepe, and spending time with his loyal dog Chulo. His presence was steady, his wisdom timeless, and his humor unforgettable—often punctuated by his favorite saying, “No seas pendejo,” delivered with love and a knowing smile.
Though his absence leaves a profound void, his family will carry his memory forward in their hearts, their stories, and the values he instilled in them. Hermion’s legacy of love, strength, and family will live on forever.
