Manuel Najera

Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Evangelina Nájera, his children Herlinda N. Saldana (Omar), Manuela N. Fuentes (Eddie), Hipolito Nájera (Iliana), Rolando Nájera (Julia) and Imelda N. Villagomez (Tomas), his grandchildren Laura Cortez, Aisa Villa, Jaclyn Diaz, Kristen Diaz, Jonathan Nájera, Stephanie Nájera, Kimberly Nájera, Merly Nájera, Rolando Nájera, Gabriela Nájera, Julia Nájera, Johnny Sanchez and A.J. Villagomez, along with 8 great grandchildren and his sister Magdalena N. Martinez.

Manuel is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Manuela Nájera, his brother Jose Nájera and his grandson Joshua Cortez.

Manuel was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend. His passion was his family, to be the best provider he could be. He spent many years in the transportation industry and reached a pinnacle of driving 1,000,000 miles without any accidents, as a safe driver which was quite an accomplishment. When not on the road, he looked forward to spending much time with his grandchildren which brought him immense joy. He was truly a father and husband devoted to his family. Also, one of his pastime pleasures as fishing, specifically fish for gar which he excelled at and brought him much enjoyment.

He will be missed by many, and will forever live in our hearts.

Visitation for Mr. Nájera will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 12 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 10 AM, followed by the burial at Highland Memorial Park.
