Maria Guadalupe Villarreal, age 92, of Weslaco, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Maria was born December 12, 1929 to Esteban and Juliana Alejandro.

Maria is survived by her children Eduardo Villarreal (Maricela), Jose Luis Villarreal (Yolanda), Alma Esmeralda (Noe) and her daughter in law San Juanita Villarreal; 18 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Francisco Villarreal Sr.; her sons Francisco Villarreal Jr. and Ricardo Villarreal and her parents Esteban and Juliana Alejandro.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel - Highland, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A burial will occur Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park.
