Thoughts and prayers to the family of Rosalinda Anderson. 
She was a dedicated employee for Weslaco ISD for over 30 years. 


My mom was the rock of our family.  She was a very loving mother and grandmother. My  mom  would do  anything for her children and grandchildren. Her love and dedication to God was like no other. She had a heart of gold  and always lived by faith. My mom was always putting her children and grandchildren before herself. My mom always gave it her best no matter what. She was our biggest supporter and did everything she could for her children. She fought her sickness  until God called her into heaven. Thank you God for truly blessing us with the best mother ever! I love you Mom until we meet again my QUEEN❤🕊🤍


My grandma Anderson is the best grandma I know I’ll ever have. She was very kind, loving and caring with her grandchildren and you could really tell and feel that she cared about all of us. I was always very curious about her life and me and my sister would always ask her questions about her life. I remember this one time, at some random pizza place, me, my sister Alexia, and my cousin Ari were sitting with my grandma and asking her soooo many questions! Poor grandma; she tried remembering so hard and we were basically interrogating her. She also always came to our house and surprised us with goodies. She would bring candies, cookies and I mostly remembered the cherished memory of her bringing us Blue Bell’s Vanilla ice cream along with a pack of Oreos. I always thought it was funny because Blue Bell already had a cookies n cream ice cream flavor. Still, she’d buy them separately and it tasted way better than the Blue Bell cookies n cream. I will also miss her big support on our games. She’d always find time to go despite her condition and she would always take our side through everything, even if we actually screwed up the play and the losing was our fault. I remember she one time brought me a drink after my game since I always forgot my water. My grandma was also a pretty crazy driver. Sometimes she would pick us up and she would drive so fast, sometimes I wonder why she didn’t just drop everything and become a NASCAR driver. She’d smoke everyone for sure, no joke. It was a little scary, but it was fun. Grandma also had a huge love for Cinderella-inspired movies. Like A Cinderella Story, Another Cinderella Story, and A Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits. We showed her the last one and she loved it. She was also a great menudo cook. Like, nobody can top her menudo. Whenever we had holiday get togethers, or any other special occasion, everyone wanted her menudo. She loved us all so much, we will never forget her love, her character, and her big heart ❤️ 

I want to thank God for sending us an amazing woman we got to call Mom. My mother was not a perfect person as none of us are, but she was a loving, caring and devoted mother and grandmother.  Her children and grandchildren  were her life. She was always proud of all her children  and  spoke highly of us to her family and friends.  My mother was a dedicated  grandmother always visiting her grandchildren on the weekends  and attending their sporting events,  even on her dialysis days she made an effort to go see my boys play baseball despite her feeling weak and tired. My kids now ask me "Mom now who's going to bring us oreos. ice cream. strawberries and cheer us on at our games." I will be forever grateful for the pain and suffering she endured for us but most of all for the unconditional love she gave us.  I LOVE you Mother!!!❤

                    Short Story of Rosalinda Latigo Anderson 

My mother was from the small border town of Progreso, where she spent her days outside playing by the Pompas de Progreso running up and down the bordos by the Rio Grande.  She was a graduate of the Weslaco ISD.   

My mom went on to marry Cesar Anderson, “The Love Of Her Life”.  Together they build a home in the town of Elsa and raised 5 children.   She was employed by Weslaco ISD Special Education Department for over 30 years. Soon after retirement with Weslaco ISD, she was employed by Spectrum Health Care a family-owned business established by her eldest daughter Michelle Anderson. Our mother was always a hard worker till the end.  

My mom was saved by our beloved Jesus Christ and answered her spiritual calling to become a servant for the Lord.  Early on she took the pilgrimage overseas; this built an unbreakable foundation for her faith and where she was blessed with her spiritual gifts. On this pilgrimage, she had to rebuke off the devil who was there to put fear in her and keep her from her calling, Later that same trip she had an encounter with Our Virgin Mary and was blessed with spiritual gifts. My mother used her gift of speaking in tongues to pray for all individuals who needed prayer. She was a eucharist minister, a catechism teacher and a member of the Prayer Warriors for the Divine Mercy. My mother was a devoted Catholic and loved to pray the Rosary as well as teach others to pray the rosary. 

My mother loved her 5 children, and 16 grandchildren, never missing any sporting events that they participated in.  She was a rock for many, and she will be missed dearly. My mother taught me and reminded me of the importance of loving each other, living in spiritual peace with yourself and with others.  Above all she showed us and asked us to love Jesus always in all that you do.

If you knew my mother than you would know that her children were her life and greatest joy. Her joy was brightened by all her grandchildren that she loved and cherished deeply. She prayed for healing because she didnt want to leave us but God had other plans for her. I came across this prayer that I found in her desk at work and I wanted to share her prayer with all her loved ones.

I met Rosie thru Fountain of Mercy Ministries. I was blessed be to a prayer warriors with her at the Divine Mercy conferences.  She was always willing to help. Beautiful women inside and out. So glad to have known her. 💜🙏💕 Rest in peace Rosie.

My grandma such a lovely caring supportive  hardworking lady.I remember when she would come and visit me and my siblings.She would buy us Vanilla ice cream and Oreos to make cookies n cream and it was delicious.She would come to our games and even though I said “I did alright” she would tell me “I did great” or “I did my best.”I remember she loved being outside,and looking at what God has offered.Her favorite color was Turquoise and she would tell me about the kind of jewelry she would buy.People would say she made the best menudo and something I liked about my grandma was that she was very religious.She bought me Bibles and a rosary that I will always have.She would go to church and tell me about God and to always have faith in him.I remember she said she didn’t like cats and that her favorite flowers were white rosas and sunflowers.🌻Someday when I have children I will tell them about how amazing of a grandma she was.She would always ask me “how are you doing” or “how’s school going.”I am going to miss our conversations and I am going to miss the love she would give for me and my siblings.Even though I am going to miss her a lot I know she is in a better place with God and her family.Looking down at her loved ones through the good and bad times we go through. I will pray for her and never forget the moments I shared with her.Thank you for everything you have done for this family.I love you and know that you will never be forgotten.❤️😘💖💔😭✝️Rest In Peace🙏🏽

A beautiful lady with such a loving heart. My mother-in-law welcomed my son, Pablito, and I with open arms. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and help any way she could. I’ll miss all the stories she shared with me and most of all her prayers. She will be missed so much. Fly high our beautiful angel.

Grandma, thank you for all the beautiful and loving memories we share. Thank you for always being there for me & taking care of me. I’m going to miss us sitting outside, hearing the birds chirp, and talking about past stories or chisme. Thank you for loving us all unconditionally. I love you so much grandma. Rest in peace ❤️

Rose was a good friend for sometime. She was a very amazing person. We lost touch after I retired from WISD SPED DEPT. I was saddened to see this obit. Rest in peace my beautiful friend.

Oh how my sweet, loving mom loved not only her children but her grandchildren…. #1 mom/grandmother… Those we love don’t go away, they walk besides everyday. 
Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed, and held so dear. 

Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality…. ❤️🙏



Rest easy with our dear Lord in heaven Mrs. Anderson.  I will always remember you being excited about bringing the office crew some pink pan dulce from the San Juan bakery. ❤
