

Weslaco - Rosalinda Latigo Anderson, 67, passed away on Thursday February 17th, 2022 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. Rosalinda was born on December 28th, 1954 to Juan and Benita (Vela) Latigo in Progreso, Texas.
She was the middle child and grew up in Progreso with seven siblings. Rosalinda graduated from Weslaco High School. Shortly after, she married Caesar Anderson and raised five children. She was a devoted mother. She revolved her life around her children and her faith. Rosalinda was a devout Catholic and served as a eucharistic minister for many years at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Progreso, Texas. She was a member of the Divine Mercy Prayer Warriors for many years. She instilled faith in her children always reminded them to "Let go and Let God" and "Let God's will be done".
Rosalinda dedicated 30 plus years to the Weslaco Independent School District. The last 10 years of her life she proudly worked at Spectrum Health Care Services in Donna, Texas as an administrative assistant to a family owned business.
Rosalinda had a love for sports especially softball which she participated in her younger years and football with the Dallas Cowboys as her favorite team. She was the number one fan of all her children and grandchildren's sporting events.
Rosalinda is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Benita Latigo.
She is survived by her husband, Caesar Anderson Sr., children Michelle Anderson (Roy Reyna) of Donna, Brenda Rose Anderson (Ivan Alvarado) of Weslaco, Caesar Anderson Jr. of Donna, Wesley Anderson (Marissa) of Weslaco, and Lori Lynn Anderson Hernandez (Jesse Hernandez) of Weslaco, siblings, Jose Latigo of Mercedes, Gerardo Latigo of Progreso, Maria Latigo of Progreso, Juan Latigo Jr. of Progreso, Emma Martinez of Weslaco, Alma Casarez of Alamo, and Benito Latigo of Progreso, grandchildren Justine Danielle, Enrique Daniel, Alexia, Michelle, Jose Rogelio Reyna III, Alejandro, Austin Daniel, Matthew Ian, Marte Jr., Cataleya Rose, Adamari Michelle, Lalen Presley, Wesley Brayden, Pablito Alberto, Diego Wes, Arilynn, and great granddaughter Mayrinn Michelle and numerous nieces and nephews.
