Sarai Fernandez

Sarai Fernandez, 32, left to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at her residence in Donna. She was born to Juan Angel Fernandez Huerta and Fabiola Lozoya Izaguirre on October 8, 1990 in San Benito.

Sarai was currently pursuing a Psychology Major at STC. She was a friendly and happy person, she loved her nieces and nephews so much and always made sure to show it. Sarai loved singing and dancing, studying and reading the Bible. She was only one month away from achieving her goal of obtaining her degree and pursuing her career in Psychology. Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents; siblings: Brenda Denise (David) Nieto, Juan Angel (Lizette) Fernandez Jr and Fabiola Ivette (Ciro) Mejia. She will also be greatly missed by her grandmother, San Juana Lozoya; nieces and nephews: Itzel, Angel, Emerson, Nicole Nieto, Jahziel, Jayleen, Yaretssi Fernandez, Jeffrey, Nirvana and Desiree Mejia.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 1 pm to 11 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am, Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
