

Veronica Larios “Lica” , 66, passed away on Friday December 11. 2020. Veronica was a life long resident of La Villa, Texas, and a dedicated parishioner of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. She is preceded in death by her father Roberto Larios Sr., her mother Socorro Larios, and her infant sister Adriana Larios. Veronica leaves behind a legacy of love and caregiving. Nearly all of her nieces and nephews were at one time cared for by their Beloved Lica. Although she never married, she was seen as their second mother to most of her siblings’ children and most of their children. Lica also was a caregiver for countless others in La Villa, TX. Lica was a devoted sister and friend that brought a smile to all who knew her. She had an infectious laugh that could bring the house down.
Lica will be missed by her 4 brothers, and 2 sisters, along with their spouses.

Private family services for Veronica will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home in Weslaco, Texas on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 with a viewing from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM followed by the burial at 3:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park.
Pallbearers for the service include Kaidn Seth Collins, Sheldon Jude Collins, Patrick Allen Collins, Robert Edward Larios, Lloyd Patrick Collins, Albert Allen Collins Jr., Ernesto Larios Jr. and Robert Andrew Larios. Honorary pallbearers are Eduardo Barraza Jr., Ian Sidney Little, Eric Deleon and Victor Valdez.
