Lupe Vasquez

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Maria Guadalupe Vasquez-Muñoz, who left this world peacefully on Monday morning, September 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 10, 1948 in Jalisco, Mexico and lived a life full of strength, love, and devotion.

At just 20 years old, Lupe bravely came to the United States with her sister, Angelina. The two were inseparable, sharing a lifelong bond that will now continue as they are laid to rest side by side.

Lupe was an independent and hardworking woman who dedicated over 35 years to McCann’s Engineering. Through her dedication and perseverance, she raised her children to become the outstanding adults she was so proud of.

She will be forever remembered by her children, Becky, Karla, and Edgar; her son-in-law Jaime and daughter-in-law Jessica; and her grandchildren, Sabrina, Jaime Jr., Christopher, Jonathan, Joseph, and Zoey, along with Joseph’s wife, Isabella. Her family was her greatest joy, and her love for them was unconditional.

Lupe had a vibrant spirit and a favorite color that perfectly reflected it—red. Her warmth, generosity, and love touched everyone around her, leaving memories that her family will cherish forever.

She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion will live on in all who knew her.
