Betty Lou Snow, 92, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Walnut Ridge Care Center in Clive. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at McLaren’s Chapel.
Betty was born January 19, 1933 in Hatfield, MO to Roxie and Maxine (Hon) Weddle. She worked at Jacobsons Apparel in Valley Junction for 24 years. In 1980 she and her husband “Tee” started their craft business “It’s a Snow Job” and they traveled to many states for 40 years. She loved spending time with her family, camping at the Iowa State Fair and family reunions.
Betty is survived by daughter, Sandra (Jim) Brown; granddaughter, Kelly (Brian) Betts; grandson, Kevin Brown; great grandsons, Ashton and Ty Betts; sister, Marilyn; cousins, nieces, and nephews of multiple generations. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack and John; and husband, Lewis.
