Dolores Pauline Peterson, 88, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Services will be planned at a later date with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
Dolores was born July 19, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Kelly and Sophia (Bednarzyk) Rogers. She graduated with honors from Jones Commercial High School in Chicago. After graduation, she worked various secretarial and accountant positions and ended her career with Meredith Publishing. Dolores was a faithful member of Valley Church where she was involved in the Pathfinders group which she very much enjoyed. She loved serving the Lord and her family, shopping at Hy-Vee, and taking care of her family. Dolores would spend weeks on end visiting her grandchildren which was very special to her family.
Dolores is survived by her daughter, Christie (Chip) Eissler; sons, Scott and Kirk Peterson; and four grandchildren, Luke, Matthew, Nicholas and Michael Eissler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; parents; brothers, Kelly and Edward Rogers.
