Ed worked in automotive sales and most recently at NAPA Auto Parts.
He is survived by his significant other Sheila Oberender; sons Edward Fallis, Jr. (Tracie); Jonathan Fallis (Heather); David Fallis (Elleni Hailu); Chad Oberender (Hali); and daughter Stacy Groth (Kollin). Ed also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Ed was preceded in death by father and mother Rex and Ruth (Ewing) and brother Rex Fallis. Ed’s infectious laugh, great smile and warm hugs will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at McLaren's Resthaven Chapel, 801 19th Street, West Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:30 AM. Burial with military honors will be at 2:00 PM at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, Iowa.
