Sorry to hear of Gary's passing. My father Vic Scott and I worked with Gary on many projects over the years , having Gary move trees for us.  Prayers for the family.

Gary moved many trees for me and my sister.  Gary was pleasant to work with, and always offered valuable advice on life, and held an in born fondness for my sisters kids and also mine.   My boys always were given gum for a treat. Gary’s smile and laugh will be deeply missed.    

As a youngster in my early teens, Gary was a man I always enjoyed visiting with. He moved trees for my mother and uncle on the weekends. We talked about everything  from deer hunting to fast cars. Gary was always eager to give advice to whoever seeked out his wisdom. One time shortly after I started dating my first girlfriend in high school he asked me a question: “do you like her mom?” It took me a couple seconds to answer, but I replied “yeah. I like her mom.” Gary replied and said “Good, because that’s EXACTLY what she’ll be like in 20 years.” Oddly enough I’ve carried that advise with me for a number of years, and it’s never failed me.
