James (Jim) Griffin, 48, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at McLaren’s Chapel with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
Jim was born April 25, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a 1981 graduate of Valley High School. Jim had been living in Wichita, Kansas before returning to West Des Moines in 2010. He was currently attending DMACC.
Jim is survived by his mother, LaVerna Griffin of West Des Moines; sister, Kathleen (Gary) Warnsholz and nephew, Steven Warnsholz of Windsor Heights. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Russell Griffin and his grandparents.
