The angels rejoiced in Heaven when they received Jane Marie Miller Baker back home on October 14, 2014. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. Friday until service time at the funeral home.
Jane was born March 1, 1931, to Ed and Madeline Miller. She met and married Charles Allen Baker and enjoyed making/sharing large farmhouse breakfasts and spending holidays with family.
Left to carry on her traditions are daughters, Connie (Vern) Chiles, Janice (Allan) Rodrigue and Leigh Ann Brophy; twin step-children, Charles (Rosalie) Baker and Charlene (Lloyd) Joss; grandchildren, Michelle (Lee) Gabbert, Bob (Jen) Chiles, Stephanie Chiles, Katie, Jourdan, and Mattie Rodrigue, Chuck Brophy and Greg Baker. Jane is preceded in death by four brothers; two sisters; grandson, Mark Olsen; and son-in-law, Neal Brophy.
