Jeffrey Craig Johnson, Jr., age 38 of Norwalk passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at home. Jeff was born June 11, 1973 in Des Moines, the son of Jeffrey Craig Johnson, Sr. (Wendy) and Susan Cummins (Mick). Jeff graduated from Valley High School in 1992 and attended college in New Orleans developing a love of the football team The New Orleans Saints. Jeff was a great outdoors enthusiast and amused his many friends with his own personal style of humor.
Jeff is survived by his wife Corinne Johnson, son Alec Johnson, step-daughter Alyssa Oberg, his parents and brothers Kyle Johnson (Jessica), Zach Johnson and Gavin Johnson. Jeff was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents Charlotte and John Patterson and Paternal Grandparents Mildred and Jim Johnson.
Services and inurnment will be held Friday, June 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. at McLaren’s Resthaven Mausoleum at 801 - 19th Street, in West Des Moines, with the Rev. Greg Kinzle officiating, with a luncheon following for family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are friends Ben Stein, Jason Zierke, his son Alec and brothers Kyle, Zach and Gavin. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
