I was unable to attend both visitation and the funeral. I cleaned for Kelly after she found out she had cancer. I've only known Kelly with cancer. She was a warrior against this terrible cause of death. I enjoyed getting to know her and Chloe and the dogs and seeing her other two children at times. Although she was suffering she managed a joyous smile every time I saw her. She was thankful and gracious for life. I talked about the courage she owned all the time. I will forever miss her and this wonderful family. ❤

Kels, today is Thanksgiving and your daughter Courtney prepared a feast for your ever watchful presence, it's hard to believe you are gone.

We met Kelly in Jr. High School in Bellevue in 1972.  We were instant friends and she became like a sister to us.  We eventually moved to Virginia and our wonderful friendship endured.  We were attendants in each other's weddings and shared many of life's good and sad times even though we were miles apart. Bev, our hearts are with you and her family. We share in your grief, however, our hearts are filled with joy for the privilege of having known Kelly.  Cherish your memories and may God grant you all peace and comfort.

I first met Kelly back in the late 80's when she was selling Home Interiors. I remember when I lost my dad Kelly was so thoughtful. She gave me a book about grieving. I still have that book to this day. She was such a funny, caring, smart, & faithful woman of God. She is now in His heavenly presence. My deepest sympathy for Kelly's family.  Kelly and my sister Kathryn were very good friends in high school, so I had the pleasure of getting to know her then.  Her smile was always contagious.  Rest in peace Kelly.

I knew Kelly in high school. She was very outgoing. She had a fun filled spirit about her. Her smile and  laugh was contagious. I also remember her Pacer car, always filled with girlfriends! RIP Kelly.

Kelly and I were college buddies at Southwestern Assemblies of God college in Waxahachie, Texas. Some of my fondest memories include Kelly. Many memories of cruising down the Dallas freeway listening to music. She was loved by so many people there and was a good friend when I needed it the most. Love you, dear friend, rest in His peace. Kelly was an inspiration to all who met her; I am blessed that I could also call Kelly my friend. I am a long term survivor of uterine leiomyosarcoma (morcellation hysterectomy on 12/24/1997) and Kelly was very active in our international support group. We will all miss her beautiful spirit and kindness. I miss her so much already.

Kelly brought sunshine and happiness to everyone she knew.  As a child she was the spark that caused children to laugh and play.  She never outgrew that.  She has made a mark on every person she has met, which is many.  She will be missed.
