Mary Ann Saluri

Mary Ann Saluri was born on September 29, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa to Sam and Victoria Saluri. She was the youngest sibling of three with two older brothers – Sam Jr. and Dan. Mary Ann attended school in West Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from West Des Moines Valley in 1964. After high school, Mary Ann attended Drake University, graduating in 1968 with a degree in marketing. She met her husband, Devinder Singh, on the Waveland tennis courts and they married in 1979. Mary Ann spent most of her career as a computer programmer. She enjoyed playing tennis, volunteering (Joppa, Catholic Charities food pantry, University Park Care Center) and spending time with family and friends.

Mary Ann passed away on March 8, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Becki Saluri; stepdaughter, Ayesha Brauer; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McLaren’s Chapel, 801 19th St., West Des Moines with the funeral service at 11:00 AM and burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery, 801 19th St., West Des Moines.
