Norma M. Varley, 90, of Sun City, AZ, formerly of West Des Moines passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at Palos Verdes Senior Living in Sun City. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
Norma was born in Clarinda, IA and lived in West Des Moines for 60 years. She was a secretary for Orville Lowe Mid-Town Motors for several years and enjoyed spending time in her garden.
She is survived by her son, Larry K. Varley of Phoenix, AZ and a niece, Tiffany Varley of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Varley and a son, Randy C. Varley.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
