Pauline Holtz, 93, passed peacefully from this life, surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 30, 2012. A private family service is planned.
Pauline was born October 6, 1919 in Ewart, Iowa the daughter of Ernest and Margaret (Hamilton) Cox. She was the youngest of seven siblings. She graduated from East High School in 1937, and remained class secretary, organizing years of reunions until 2003. She was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and loved bowling and golf.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Stole of Des Moines; son, Richard Hartzell of Waukee; granddaughter, Heather Johnson of Des Moines; and great-grandchildren, Joshua and Shianne Johnson of Des Moines.
