Philip Eugene Brown, age 95, peacefully passed away on March 4, 2026. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
Philip was born in 1930 to Milford and Jennie (Roe) Brown. He enlisted in the Navy and was a proud veteran of the Korean War. Philip loved to read and watch western movies. He also loved to do drawings of cartoon characters and cut wood figures for his family.
Philip is survived by his sister, Shirley Wallace, and two sons, Phil and Jeff, and their families. He'll be greatly missed.
