Rita Nolan, 78, passed away Monday, August 8, 2011 at her home. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at McLaren’s Chapel. A private family burial will be at Resthaven Mausoleum.
Rita was born in Chicago, Illinois and had lived in West Des Moines since 1963. She retired from Von Maur after nearly 20 years there. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Rita is survived by her husband, Robert E. Nolan, Sr.; son, Scott Nolan of Des Moines; grandson, Justin Nolan of Des Moines; and her sister, Gwen Roth of New Lenox, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her daughter Julie and son, Robert Nolan, Jr.
Memorial contributions may be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
