Grandma thank you for always loving me and showing up for me no matter what.  You were the best Grandma that anyone could every have im so thankful that you were in my life.  I'll always cherish the love that you have shown me and no matter where I go in life you will always be in my heart.  Its hard not having you here but you have taught me how to be strong and I promise im going to make you proud. Im going into middle school and im going to miss you calling me just to ask me how my first day of school went. You mean the world to me.  Love La'Niyah

My mind knows u are in a better place, where there is no pain. You are at peace. I understand that. I just wish I could explain that to my heart💔 😪 Im so thankful that I got to call you my mother-in-law. You have filled my life with so much luv and precious memories. You will always be loved and forever missed. You may have passed on but your memories will always live on within us. Thank you for your care and concern, your luv and everything you have done for me and my babies. Grandma,

You were so intentional with your life. You loved me on my worst days, and you always made sure to tell me how much you loved me. 

On July 29, when I had the opportunity to talk to you, for what ended up being our last conversation. Your last words to me were simple and sweet.. "I love you more." - Thank you for 40 years of unconditional love. I pray I make you proud of me from Heaven.

Grandma Ruth,
You were only 37 when I came into the world, and from the start, you filled my life with love, laughter, and wisdom. We had our own little world—watching Golden Girls together over the phone, you randomly blurting out “In the heeeeeat of the niiiiight” just because, and sharing an unspoken bond that neither of us was too fond of “people.”

We both loved a well-seasoned piece of meat, a good conversation, and a good lil’ deal on anything. I’d call you just to hear your voice, and now I find myself struggling to accept that you’re no longer here.

I can only hope to be a grandmother like you one day—caring, sharp, and unforgettable. Thank you for every laugh, every lesson, and every ounce of love. I will carry you in my heart forever.
