Sherry Diane Wright, 74, of Des Moines, Iowa went home to be with the Lord after a short battle with COVID-19 on Monday, January 4, 2021. Sherry was born December 23, 1946 in Marshalltown, Iowa to LaVerna (Hankins) and Elmo Wright.
Sherry is survived by sister Micki Rehard, sister Nancy Loomis (Gary) and sister Donna Bruns; her beloved pet cat Shadow; numerous nieces and nephews survive Sherry as well.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents Elmo and LaVerna (Hankins) Wright; brother-in-law Conrad Rehard and brother-in-law Gary Bruns; pet cats Shawnee, Rainy Lu, and Misty Lu.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sherry's memory may be made to Sherry's family and will be designated to a charity at a later date.
