Susan Louise Bundy, 77, passed away September 6, 2024 at her home in West Des Moines. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at McLaren’s Chapel. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 at McLaren’s with burial following at Jordan Cemetery in West Des Moines.
Susan was born September 4, 1947 in Des Moines, to John and Mary Rose (Floyd) Lewis. She attended Tech High School and worked at 1st National Bank and retired from K-Mart after many years of service. She enjoyed fishing, playing corn hole, cheering for her Iowa State team and most of all loved spending time with her grandkids and family.
Susan is survived by her husband, Lee; a daughter, Leslie (Howard) Cruchelow; grandchildren, Jess and Lexie Cruchelow, David Wood; great grandchildren, Ryder Wood, Rylie Wood and Ryot Wood; brothers, Gary Lewis, Lon (Denise) Lewis, Randy (Vicki) Lewis; and sister, Lauree (Steve) Douglas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bob, Mick, and Jack Lewis; sister, Teri Lewis; and son, Craig Baker.
