Thomas R. Fuller, 93, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Plymouth Congregational Church in Des Moines. Thomas has donated his body for research to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
Thomas was born June 13, 1917 in Emmetsburg, Iowa to Raymond and Adelaide (Collier) Fuller. He had lived in California and several towns in Iowa before moving to the Des Moines area 30 years ago. Thomas was a Pharmaceutical Salesman, a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.
Thomas is survived by his daughter, Ann (Ron) Stoen of Des Moines; son, Thomas H. (Cathy) Fuller of Vista, California; step-daughter, Karen Buchanan of Prospect Height, Illinois; step-son, Larry B. (Jan) Dirlam of Minneapolis, Minnesota and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Thomas was preceded in death by his two wives, Tina Fuller and Helen Fuller; brother, Lewis Fuller and sister, Anne Fuller.
