Mary Ann was born March 21,1939 on Cape Cod in Massachusetts and mainly grew up in the Dennis-Harwich area. She graduated from high school and then married to her husband Bob 1957. She had three children: Debbie, Bobby, and Billy in three years. While her children were growing up, she worked as a cashier and then later as a bookkeeper. Once her children were grown up, she worked as a nurse’s aide, bus driver, long haul trucker, and a cash office worker at a local supermarket. She also taught Equestrian for a period of time. In 1982, she and her husband Bob were in a bad car accident. After that, she became his caregiver for 12 years, until his passing in 1994. A few years later, she decided to move to Maine for a new start with her eldest son, Bob and his family. The jobs she had in Maine were cashiering, boarding horses, teaching Equestrian, working in a kitchen, and driving troubled children to school. She found a new friend, Dave, and they lived together, she eventually became his caregiver, until his passing in 2020.
Later in life, she was diagnosed with dementia. Her two sons tried to care for her, in her best interest, they transferred her to Woodlands Memory Care Facility in Bridgton, Maine. She was there for approximately a month before she was sadly diagnosed with cancer, which she battled for 3 months. After an acute battle with both dementia and cancer, she peacefully passed on.
She is survived by her three children- Debbie, Bobby, and Billy, two brothers- Bob and Ed, and three grandchildren- Angela, Chris, and Janet. Mary Ann was very loved by her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Rest in Peace Ma- Love, Bill
