Nate was a true friend. Not the kind that that we normally see today.
He visted friends AND strangers in hospitals and nursing homes.
Always offering to help and doing so without being asked. The Lord didn’t make many like him!

I can't believe it has been a year already. I still look for his yellow truck and think of him every time I pass his apartment building. He was a big help with chores and offered to fix things even without us asking. 
I hope his family knows he is missed and that they are doing well themselves. It's never easy to lose a loved one and healing takes time.  Though they will never be forgotten.

We miss Nate every day. He was a true friend who went out of his way to visit everyone he knew who was not well or was considered by him to be a friend.


My condolences to the family  .. We have lost a most kind and thoughtful human being. I had met Nate a couple of times through a mutual friend but came to know him better through our good friend Marge. When she died I was distressed as I had been home only a few days following knee surgery. Nate called and offered to get me to her service. He took such good care of me, walker and all, and I was so grateful. It was such a kind thing for him to do and meant so much to me.

So sorry to hear about Nate. I had the pleasure of playing table tennis  both with and against him. We would compare or aches and pains, then continue to play on.  He will be missed.

We were fortunate to have Nate as one of our closest friends for over 30 years. He was a generous, kind & extremely loyal hard-working man. He had an infectious laugh & a smile that would brighten any room. He loved ping pong, wallyball, darts & horse shoes just to name a few. His competitive nature always left him wanting to play one more game, challenging us to beat him. Which was nearly impossible.  We've celebrated countless birthdays, graduations, weddings & holidays making memories together.  Christmas & Thanksgiving won't be the same without him here with us. Nate was always up for anything. Whether it was just having fun or lending a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Nate is one of those rare individuals that made everyone who knew him feel very special. Friends like him are far & few between. We will miss everything about him. Rest easy our friend. Until we meet again. We will never forget you & always love you.

So sorry to hear of Nate’s passing. We played hundreds of table tennis games and often teamed up as partners. He once bought me a case for my paddle for no reason other than he wanted to do something for me. That simple act of generosity touched me and that is how I’ll remember him.

So Sorry to hear of Nate's passing.  We would play ping pong together quite often at the Community Center.  He was always ready to play one more game...Rest in Peace. 

I am sorry to hear of Nates passing. I only knew him from the Harwich Council on Aging, where I volunteer. What a character he was!! I enjoyed seeing him and always complimented him on his hat. 

I'm sure Nate is in Heaven, taking on anyone in another game of ping pong!  Rest easy Nate, thanks for the memories!


Rest in peace, Nate!! Thank you for all the home repairs you did for us and building my yard sale tables. I will treasure them. Hugs to Natalie, Tina, Jeannie, and Arthur. Whenever I see or have a lifesaver candy, I will think of Nate. So sorry that your life was shortened by cancer and it doesn't seem fair. You have earned your wings and keep an eye on your family.
