
Rosemarie Baslik, 91, of Harwich MA passed away on August 10, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio with stops along the way in Billerica, MA, Portland ME, and Worcester MA before retiring to Harwich in 1986. Rosemarie was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She loved family get-togethers and holidays, with Christmas as her great favorite. For many years she was a dedicated fan of Worcester Academy athletics and Sandwich youth soccer. She is survived by her three sons, Thomas and his wife Deniese of Baltimore, MD, Brian and his wife Susan White of Centerville, MA and Clinton and his wife Louise, from Sandwich, MA, as well as her three granddaughters, Kristen McKeen of Marshfield, MA, Ashleigh Davis of Parrish FL and Katherine Baslik of Sandwich, MA and her best friend of 50 years, Phyllis Delude of Harwich, MA. Rosemarie was predeceased by her parents, John and Rose Koliha of Cleveland Ohio, her sister Patricia Yuhas of Cleveland, Ohio and her husband Edward of Harwich, MA
Known affectionately to her grandchildren as Gamz, she was kind, gentle, strong-willed, loving, thoughtful and generous to a fault. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 10-11:30 AM at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main St., (Rt. 28) West Harwich with a memorial service beginning at 11:30 AM. A committal service will follow on Aug. 15 at 12:45 PM at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
