Adela, also known as Beba or Abby, was born in Camaguey, Cuba on September 7, 1933 to Jacinto and Adelina Agramonte. Through her youth and early adulthood, Beba enjoyed riding horses on their family ranch, fishing the beautiful waters with her yoyo, dressing up to attend parties with her friends, and visiting their family vacation home at the beach in La Boca. In 1953, Beba married Enrique J. Tomeu. Seven years later, Beba and Enrique left Cuba to start a new life in the United States with their 3 children. By 1961, they welcomed their 4th child and also moved their parents to the U.S. Beba prided herself in raising her four children and spending time with family and friends. Later in life, Beba married Francisco J. Rodriguez, also known as “Rin”, and they shared many years of love and happiness. Beba enjoyed playing endless hours of the card game Continental, reading, feeding animals at the ranch, boating, walking the beach, hosting family dinners and parties, and traveling with family. She was deeply respected and adored by her countless friends and family. She was known for being witty, funny, and always beautifully dressed. She was a true lady in every sense of the word.
