Age 94
Of Palm Beach and New York, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at her home. Adele is survived by her three daughters, Nancy (Sheldon) Prentice, Adrienne (Robert) Nelson, and Adele Grant. She is also survived by her 5 Grand-Children, Alison Pappas, James and Katherine Prentice , John and Mark Nelson, and her 4 Great-Grandchildren, Charlie and Teddy Pappas, and Henry and Fiona Prentice.
Adele worked as a special education teacher in New York City in the hospital schools within Rusk Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering for many years. She was very active at St. Thomas More Church serving as President of the Parish Council. She was also a member pf the Guild at St. Edward Roman Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward Roman Catholic Church, 144 N County Road, Palm Beach, FL on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:00 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Adele in your prayers.
