Ana Luisa Oti died peacefully on November 17, 2022, at her home in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was born on September 17, 1926, in Varadero, Cuba, and immigrated to the United States in 1969. She was extremely proud to be an American citizen. Ana Luisa is survived by her daughter Ana Rodriguez and her husband, Jorge, and her daughter Maria Nevergold. She has 5 grandchildren: Carlos Portilla and his wife Kim, Garrett Nevergold, Ross Nevergold, Elliot Rodriguez, and Andrew Rodriguez. She adored and eagerly anticipated spending time with her great-grandsons Cameron and Carson Portilla.
She is predeceased by her husband Oscar Oti.
Tita, as her grandchildren called her, dedicated her life to her family. She worked tirelessly to ensure that her daughters received a good education. She assisted in the care of her grandchildren and never missed any of their baseball games. Ana Luisa had many adoring nieces and nephews whom she made a point of calling on a regular basis. She was adored by many and will be forever missed.
Services: There will be a Funeral Mass at St. Juliana Catholic Church, 4500 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, on Saturday, December 10, at 12:00 noon, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in memory of Ana Luisa to St. Juliana Catholic Church at the address above.
