Your absence has left a hole in my heart. It’s a blessing that we’ve been besties for so many years. We met freshman year (1987) at Aurora University and just clicked! The memories we’ve created and shared over the years are priceless. The laughs have been endless. It’s amazing that our calls have always been just one long continued conversation for 37 years. LOL! I will definitely miss our Sunday morning calls.

You never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. Thank you, my dear friend, for so many great memories. I’ll miss you for now, until we meet again. Luv you, girl!

Your conviction, dedication, and work ethic  earned you so much respect from colleagues, friends, and us.  You will forever be in our hearts and memories and remembered through your works and deeds. Rest now my daughter. We will carry on your works and ethic. You gave all you had and have earned your place with Him.

You were 100% the essence of your father- understanding, patient, forgiving, tolerant at times when many others wouldn’t be, and a strong love and support for family. Your laughter and positive spirit permeated every room you entered such that  it easily explains the numerous friends you maintained over the years. From all walks of life.

As a daughter you allowed us to guide and assist you with your life progress, share in resolving your challenges, celebrating your successes, and sharing in your dreams for your future. As the woman you became , it is easy to see the positive influence Sudie had in your life during your developmental years.  Your love for him was ever present from the first day we met over thirty years ago and remained throughout the years. It’s rare to see a parent and adult child ALWAYS  have a GREAT relationship throughout the years!

When your dad and I committed our love and life to each other , our children joined as one family - no “step” parents. You and I meshed so well together. You welcomed me with open arms  as your “ other mother” and you became another daughter of mine. As the eldest child in our family you became a sister, friend, confidante, and “life coach” to your  siblings long before the term became commonplace. You bridged the gap between your younger siblings and us “old folks” and made life better for us all.

I am sorry that I could not attend your “Going Away Celebration”...we know that you are with our almighty GOD now.  Please know that YOU our dear and beloved true sister...will be TRULY missed.

I was always happy to see nell, she was so full of life. When she would come to town, she  would make sure she dropped by to the house. if I was having something at The Petesonian, she made sure she came . Believe me when I say, she would always kick the family function up to the next level

My little Sister or Peaches as I called her. Gonna miss you so much.

My Beautiful Daughter Arnell, born in Chicago 07/28/1969 at 6:33 AM.  It wasn't easy being a  young single  Mother raising a child alone . But God sent me  Alvin Gregory Boyd Sr. to help raise Arnell when she was  7 years old -  until she graduated from High School.  As a family, we attended Church regularly.  Proverbs 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way she should go : And when she is old, she will not depart from it." Through it all,  I have been there for my Daughter.  Only her Mother knew the pain my daughter suffered on the inside. In spite of the pain, she pushed beyond and became a Beautiful Woman full of Love for everyone.  For the last 30 on years HER  Birthday I would   CALL  her at 6:33 AM... NO more Birthday wishes just memories.  God Blessed Me with a Beautiful first born daughter who set high Standards for her Siblings. I Thank God for allowing me to have my Blessed Beautiful Daughter Arnell in my life for 54 years.  I will truly Miss my  Daughter who is a Blessing even though she no longer here with us.  My Daughter, friend, and Advisor - Rest until we meet Again.  LOVE YOU

My condolences to the family, Arnell was a dear friend and co-worker for over 25 years. So many stories and memories. My heart is broken for her family and friends. Vibrant, beautiful, life of the party queen has been taken to soon. I don't question why; I know it's painful but walk in faith and stay in prayer.

I remember showing Arnell these pictures a few years ago and she was surprised that I still have them from over 25 years ago. We had some really great times because she was the life of the party. She loved when Tom invited her over to our home and he cooked her black hotdogs. R.I.P dear friend

On behalf of March of Dimes, we are so deeply saddened to hear of Arnell's passing. I was blessed to work with her over the past year and will miss her bright smile and energy. She was a true champion for our mission and brought such light and joy everywhere she went.

I remember when I moved to West Palm Beach with my uncle Greg and my auntie Charlotte. My cousin Arnell was really sweet and nice and definitely enjoyed life to the fullest I loved the way she pronounced JCPENNY AND TARGET she was my favorite and first big cousin she made me feel welcome while I was living in Florida for the short time I was there I can go on and on with memories of her she will most definitely be missed.
