

BRANDON, Barbara Phillips Gonzalez born December 15, 1948 in Lake City FL passed away on April 6, 2017 at the age of 67. A West Palm Beach resident for over 40 years, she was a wife, a mother and a grandmother who cherished these roles deeply and fiercely. The unwavering love and support she gave to her family will never be forgotten. She never missed a single baseball, softball, football game, swim meet, or academic accomplishment. She would always say, “You can walk on water if you believe you can”. In addition to family, her other passions in life including painting, horseback riding and barrel-racing in younger years and hunting and fishing with her best friend and husband of 47 years, Bob. Both coordinated and ran various fishing tournaments in Palm Beach and the Bahamas for many years. Through her children and grandchildren, we will honor her legacy as the founder of the “Barefoot Brandon’s” in sharing precious memories with those she loved, now and always.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Brandon; her son, James (Laurie) Brandon; her daughters, Margaret (Erik) Loranger, Barbara (Eric) Mannisto and Katherine (Mike) Murray; and by her 9 grandchildren, Emily, Jackson and Matthew Loranger ; Brandon and Mason Mannisto ; James , Elizabeth and Jake Brandon and Hunter Murray. Also surviving are her brothers, Hank, Charles and John Gonzalez.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER at HILLCREST, 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach on Saturday April 15, 2017 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.
