David Neal Finklea

David was born in West Palm Beach to Rejeanne and Donald Finklea Sr. He was the 3rd son of this marriage. David was a successful, self-made business Owner of the Ocean Surf Glass & Mirror for 30 years in Lake Park. He has spent his life in this area. He loved all things water, boating, fishing and spent many years pursing his passion of traveling the world. Most of all he loved wind surfing and kiting. But the love of his life was his Jack Russel Terrier; 5.O. David was predeceased by his father, Donald E. Finklea Sr. and his oldest brother Michael D. Finklea. David leaves behind those he loved most; Leslie Carmichael, his special friend and caretaker. His son William Edward Finklea of West Palm Beach, his sister Jennifer D Smollon of Knoxville ,TN; his younger brother Joseph F. Campbell of Deland FL; his older brother Donald E. Finklea Jr. of West Palm Beach, his younger sister Star N.Finklea-Callahan of Palm Beach Gardens. He is also survived by his mother Rejeanne Campbell and his other mother Virginia S.Finklea. David has numerous nieces and nephews. David was a wonderful son,father,friend and employer . He will be greatly missed by all. The viewing and service will be at Tropical Sands Christian Church 2726 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens 33410 on Sat June 3, 2017.The viewing will be from 12-2pm with the service immediately following. The interment and gravesides service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park 6411 Parker Ave West Palm Beach FL 33405.
