Donal Kent Ford, 68, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away peacefully in his home on March 18, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on May 7, 1955, in Davenport, Iowa to Donal T. Ford and Miriam Mead.
Don had a deep passion for family, music, and sports, which brought joy and fulfillment to his life. He was the heart and soul of his family, known for his unwavering love, unique humor, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond for his loved ones. Don’s remarkable qualities and infectious spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.
Don is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela Ford; his children, Erin Ederer, Donal D. Ford, Kelly Carter, and Caitlin West; his children-in-law, Jenelle Schwark and Allison Brazley; his father and stepmother, Donal T. Ford and Joann Ford; his siblings, Dana Ford, Eric Ford, Christie Temple and Renee Hardie; and numerous other cherished grandchildren, family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his first beloved wife, Rae Ann Ford, his mother, Miriam Mead and his sister, Beth Love.
Rest peacefully, Don, knowing that your love, wisdom, and spirit will love on through all of us.
A memorial service to celebrate Don’s life will be held on Friday, March 29th at 12:30 pm located at Quattlebaum Funeral Center (6411 Parker Ave West Palm Beach, FL 33405). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Palm Beach Hospice & Palliative Care by MorseLife in honor of Don’s memory.
