Donald Jackson, affectionately known as "The General" was born on January 18, 1938 in the city of Baxley, GA. He received his education in the public school system of Appling County. With family talent and training, he became a carpenter in the construction industry like his father.
Donald accepted Christ at an early age and joined and served faithfully with his family at Corbett Chapel A.M.E. Upon moving to Florida, he met Ellen Faye Jackson, his wife of 59 years who proceeded him in death. Donald is a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in West Palm Beach
On May 20, 2021, God saw that Donald was tired and called him home. Leaving to cherish his memories are three children, Kimberly McNeil (Anthony), Donna Faye Nichols (Darrick) and Diontray Jackson (Shantell). Twelve grandchildren, Angelica, Aeryal, Jordan, Darien, Charles, Jshanna, Oni, Tyler, Quianna, Lyric, Denai and Diontray II. Four great grandchildren, Tatiana, Anastasia, Ariana and baby John. Also treasuring his memory are a multitude of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren and friends.
