Time has passed and this still hurts.  Time doesn't heal ALL wombs.  However I know that you had to go, and if you had a chance to come back I know that you wouldn't want to come back, so I had to learn to adjust with your absence here, it's NOT the same, it is what it is! I love you still and missing you more! rest well

Thank You Dad for being a Father to me one of the greatest things was when you took me under your wings and taugh me the skills of installing carpet a skill that I can use for the rest of my life, And I thank you Dad for always being a real King of our family. Dad rest on we  will see again.

To  Our Family, one of the hardest things in life is to lose a parent. They leave us with so many memories, advice, Love and Understanding. It fills our hearts and makes us a stronger person. That is what we must hold on to. A Family that Prays together stays together.

My father in law was such a loving and caring man.  Each and every time I came in contact with him he had a way of making me feel special.  He wasn't a father in law, but a Father to me.  So please know that you will be greatly missed. I love you and our family will never be the same without you here.  RIP, until we meet again❤️

The Love of My Life Earl Ward! We created greatness and we taught our family how to love no matter what. Strolling through my memories and the one that stuck out the most was how you loved my mom Alice Ward. I appreciate the love that you showed the family and for keeping us together. There were times you always made a way to get the family over just to make more special memories. Daddy, I'm so glad you trusted me to take care of you and momma that meant the world to me. Dad, the time we spent playing Jenga and Checkers I know you let me win just so we can play again. Out of every game, we played you are still my MVP! You are always in my heart and now that you gained your wings to join the other family members, please tell them we still LOVE them as if they were still here. I’m going always to love and miss you forever. Your Favorite Baby Girl!!!

When thinking of my dad words such as strong minded, intelligent, loving, kind, and family oriented apply to his character.  I remember how he would take me to work with him as a child to teach me the carpet business.  He was a true master at his craft, and he taught others to be successful in the craft as well.  Although I had different career plans, I always remembered what he instilled in me. He said that whatever I decided to do in life, just do your best.  That is something that has stayed with me, and I've passed it on to my children.  When I informed my dad that I was going to join the military, he informed me that I would have to take orders, and do some things that I probably wouldn't like, but I would have to do them anyway.  Me being myself asked, Why can't I give out the orders and give them situations that they didn't like?  He smiled an said, you must crawl before you can walk son.  My dad always had a way of putting things in simple terms to make you understand his concepts.  One of the greatest pieces of advice that he gave me and Karen when we got married, was to never let anyone tell us anything negative about each other, as a result we will celebrate our 40th anniversary in April.  Thanks dad your advice was invaluable.  Lord knows I wish I could be more like him.  RIH Dad I know your mother/father, Faye, Al, Sanford and Jay Jay are glad to see you.  Please continue to keep a watchful eye on us as you did on earth.  I LOVE YOU DAD, your son Wayne.

My heart is forever broken! Thank you for holding our family together and keeping us close no matter what. I am forever grateful to have had you in my life and to accept (Your Bug) into our loving family. Your Bug always say (My Granddaddy) but I would correct him and say he's my granddaddy and I'm his FAVORITE GIRL!! I'm going to miss you and I know your looking real nice with those angel wings!! What is family without you? I love you gracefully Grandad and I appreciate everything that you've done. Missing you will be an understatement coming from me honestly. But I know your soul is flying high. I want you to rest well because your job here is done. Your Legacy has already begun and although we are sad our lives will continue but only in a way that you've prayed for us to do. You've prepared us for this day way before we knew and the epitome of it all is for us to walk through this journey together. If nothing else mattered your true words will. A family that prays together stays together and Grandad you would be proud because here we are missing you but guess what we all are here together. I love you beyond this world. Some of the fondest memories we have of Earl was his jokes. His smile and laughter always brightened a room. We also remember him always singing "Low Down Chariot, Let Me Ride".  We will miss all his prayers, love, and his positive thoughts he so freely gave to us and others. May all the family reunions, wonderful memories, and knowing he's with our Lord and Savior bring some comfort to everyone. We will miss you Earl! The most memorable thing about Uncle Earl was how he made me feel. As a little boy I always enjoyed being around him. Every time I saw him I expected him to be clever and funny.  He never disappointed 😊. 

He was tough, skilled, smart, funny, and loving ❤️.  I am so grateful for the beautiful memories. The way he always called me "Tater" never got old 😂.

You will be missed!  Your laughter, jokes, advice, and love always came just in time.  Even though you made all of us feel special, I was your first favorite niece.  You were the taste tester for my hard, not so good biscuits, but you were always encouraging and made me feel like I was "the Martha Stewart".

Well, God finally slowed down the Chariot to let you ride! Rest and enjoy the ride!

The Patriarch  of the family.   He held us together with his glue of love,  laughter, advice, concern, and chastisement when necessary.   He called on our birthdays  and out of the blue just to talk.  I was his favorite.  He made us ALL feel  that way.  God  smiled on him and he smiled on others.   Love  you Unk RIH--Regenia

My brother Earl was the ultimate male. Not too tall, shy of being short, and just right for the task given him by Our Great God. A wonderful brother, loving,intelligent, trustworthy,  moral, fair, compassionate, hard working, and successful provider.  He loved his family on top.  He was the glue that kept us all together (Brown-Ward). Always forgiving and kind. We will miss his touch, not his presence (he will live on). Perhaps you didn't know he was a comedian, singer and poet? He was. He left fond memories! We love and miss him so.  My brother fought the good fight of Faith. He patiently waited for The Lord, The Lord heard him, and granted his request.  He advanced into Glory, believing Jesus  (John14)! Let's be exceeding glad Glam Fam! We have the same hope! Thank you Father!

As a child, I remember Earl coming to the Paschall Settlement to visit family. He loved to come spend time with his family and that gesture alone left a mark on me. His actions taught me at an early age, that family is everything. I will continue to share this value and memories of him. May he Rest in Jesus is my prayer. 

Hey this is stanley from waycross I've shared lot's of memories of Earl his laughter his jokes and his love for his family I remember him asking me to race him and of course I did when I say for an old man boy can he run he beated me running backwards going to continue to keep him in my heart rest easy ole man gone but never forgotten
