

Born on December 7, 1940, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Edith was the beloved daughter of the late Phillip and Fannie Cameron. She resided in Riviera Beach for most of her life, where she built a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Edith was a lifelong member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where she faithfully served and worshipped for many years. After relocating to Orlando to live with her daughter and son-in-law, she continued her spiritual journey at Elim Baptist Church, where she found a new church family and fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Cathelia Johnson, Patricia Ashurst, Phillip Cameron, Jr., and Gwendolyn Gustus.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Charlotte Phoenix Hobbs, and son-in-law Leonard Hobbs. Her spirit lives on through her grandchildren: Lynnardo Hobbs, Tessa Cooper, and Sharlee Hobbs Edwards (Ray Edwards, II). She was a proud great-grandmother to: Cameron Cooper, Phoenix Edwards, Lynnard Hobbs, and Zoey Edwards .Edith also leaves behind her brother, Edwin Cameron (Edna) and her sister, Winifred Cameron, along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.at Royal Palm Funeral Home, 5601 Greenwood Ave, West Palm Beach, FL. A visitation to occur on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 2006 A E Isaacs Ave, West Palm Beach, FL. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., followed by the burial at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 5601 Greenwood Ave, West Palm Beach, FL.
Edith’s life was a beautiful testament to love, resilience, and faith. Her memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew her.
