Ena DeGranda Ojea, 73, of Juno Beach, FL passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012, after a four year battle with cancer. Ena was born in Santiago, Cuba and married the love of her life, Jose (Tutu) Ojea, on December 23, 1957. They had three boys and in 1964 were forced to flee Cuba and came to the United States and lived in Pahokee, FL where a fourth son was born. They took opposite shifts working in the sugar mill while caring for their children. After moving to West Palm Beach, Ena attended Biscayne College where she obtained a Master's Degree in Education. She became an ESOL teacher at Conniston Middle School where she remained until retirement. Ena was devoted to her husband of 54 years, Jose (Tutu) Ojea, her four sons, Joe (Nancy), George (Liz), Peter (Angie), Tony (Michelle), her nine grandchildren, Erin (Jimmy), Jay, Lily (Ryan), Shannon, Kevin, Emily, Cody, Maddie, and Sam, and her two great grand-children, Isabelle and Evelyn. A Visitation will be held Friday, February 24, 2012 from 5 to 11pm at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 12noon in the funeral home.
