Frances W. Holmes beloved wife, mother and grandmother went home to join the Angels in Heaven on June 16, 2012. Frances began her life on September 23, 1932 in Jonesboro, Georgia to the late Mr. James Edward Waller and the late Mrs. Mary Sue (nee Cargile) Waller. She moved from Orlando, Florida with her husband, John C. Holmes in 1962 to Palm Beach County, Florida. She was of the Baptist Faith and loved her Lord and Savior with all her heart. Frances liked to read, cook, look after her family and take care of her pet cats. She was a very informed person, keeping up with current events and always urged her children as they were growing up to venture out into the world and appreciate all that life had to offer. She was the proud grandmother of three and loved spending time with her grandchildren cooking and caring for them. Frances will be remembered for her loving smile, warm heart and her constant encouragement to her family and others to go beyond the norm and enjoy life for all that it had to offer! Frances will forever be cherished by her loving and devoted husband of sixty years, John C. Holmes; her two loved daughters, Melanie Pitts and husband, Barry of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Marylu Stross and husband, Gregory of Malibar, FL; her three adored grandchildren, John Paul Pitts of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Russell Stross of Malibar, FL and Julia Pitts of New York City, NY; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.
