

Georgia “Jeannie” Jean Jacobs, a native of West Palm Beach, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.
Born on March 18, 1950, Georgia - known affectionately to many as Jeannie - lived in the West Palm Beach area all her life. She married the love of her life, John, in 1976, becoming a devoted and loving stepmother to his son, John Jr. Georgia and John went on to have three children together - Jamie, Jennifer, and Jason - who were greatly cherished by their mother.
Georgia valued family above all else, and her deep compassion and effortless way of connecting with others made people feel at home in her presence. She had a gift for bringing people together, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere wherever she went.
She is survived by her devoted husband, John; her three children, Jamie Jacobs (Le), Jennifer Chrzanowski (Brian), and Jason Jacobs (Katie); her stepson John Jacobs Jr.; and her five beloved grandchildren, Jack, Joseph, Johnny Lee, Griffiths, and Mack. She is also remembered by her siblings, Billie Ackerman, Connie Drosakis, and Jim Drosakis (Ellen).
Visitation and Trisagion service will be Tuesday, November 11, from 10:00 am-10:45 am at St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, 110 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. A committal service will then follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, from 12:30 pm-1:00 pm.
