Helen Michelle "Shelley" Fisher

Helen Michelle “Shelley” Fisher, aged 65, passed away on October 31, 2024, in Jupiter, Florida. Born on June 6, 1959, Helen was renowned for her kindness, generosity, and grace, making her a beloved figure within her community and circle of friends. She was a sweet soul and cared deeply for her family, friends and her pets.

Helen completed her early education at North Palm Beach Private School (now The Benjamin School) before graduating from Cardinal Newman High School in 1977. She furthered her studies at the University of Florida, which laid the groundwork for her successful career as owner of Fisher Interiors and later Suncastle Interiors, both based in Jupiter, Florida. She was known for her exquisite taste and dedication to her craft.

Outside of her professional life, Helen had a passion for horseback riding, travel, and hosting gatherings for friends and family, always ensuring everyone felt at home. Her warmth and hospitality were legendary among her loved ones.

Helen is survived by her former husband Bart Fisher, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; her sister, Stephanie Remsen of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and her brother, John Remsen, Jr., who now lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Remsen and Dorothy Vasser. She was a native of and spent her entire life in Northern Palm Beach County.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 5:00-7:00pm at Royal Palm Funeral Home, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida. A “Celebration of Life” will occur on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 10:00am-11:15am at the same location. A Committal Service will follow at 11:30am at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida.

In remembrance of Helen's lifelong love for animals, the family requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Humane Society of Jupiter/Tequesta or PETA. Contributions can be made through their respective websites.
