84 years old, a longtime resident of West Palm Beach, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Jack grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and in 1964 moved to West Palm Beach. He was always interested in planes and later joined the3 U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War. In 1971 Jack founded Lowen Air Conditioning. He was a Rotarian and active member and leader of the HVAC industry in Palm Beach County. He loved boating, antiques and Saturday breakfast before yard sales. Most of all, Jack loved his family and always made them a priority.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah, in December of 1998. He is survived by his sons, Ronald (wife, Tracy) and John (wife, Lynne); and three grandchildren, Ryan (Rachelle), Lianne (husband, Devin), and Todd. Also surviving is his longtime companion, Sharon Johnson and many extended family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 4601 S. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, 33405. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 1:00 PM until service time on Friday.
