It is with great sadness that the family of Jason Matthew Rodgers announce his sudden passing on
Thursday October 21st, 2021, at the age of 43 in Delray Beach, Florida. With recently relocating to
Florida just a few short months ago, Jason spent majority of his life in the suburbs of Chicago.
Jason will be lovingly remembered by his six children: Nicholas, Brittany, Julian, Jaiden, Jaylynn, and
Jionni; Mother: Linda Rodgers; Biological father: William “Bill” Rodgers; Stepfather: Ralph “Butch” Ruiz;
Brother: John Rodgers; Sister: Jenna (Christopher) Bender; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins,
nephews, and friends.
Starting at a young age, Jason had incredible ambition that was undoubtedly shown when he purchased
and owned three cars at just 14 years old. That was just the beginning as his drive and motivation grew
his car and motorcycle collection into the hundreds throughout the years. His way with numbers was
fascinating which often left people in awe. Jay was a lover of all things fast and often had a hard time
keeping both wheels on the ground.
What was often loved most was his charming ability to make anyone smile with his quick wit and
cunning sense of humor. Many had a profound admiration of him, but especially his children.
Jason was a man of mystery, lived life to the absolute fullest and will be deeply, deeply missed.
