Mr. Woodard, age 75, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Hospice of Palm Beach County. Jimmy was born on March 15, 1936 in Portland, Tennessee to the late Mr. Harvey R. Woodard and the late Mrs. Sallie Estell (nee Boren) Woodard. Thirty years ago, Jimmy and his wife, of 32 years, Christine E. Woodard moved to the West Palm Beach area from Nashville, Tennessee. Jimmy was a professional musician and was a part of the band that performed with country music legend, Bill Anderson. He was also very active with St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lake Park, FL. Jimmy has been chronically ill for the past twenty eight years, suffering from heart & lung ailments and diabetes, which have all contributed to his final demise. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Harold Woodard.
Jimmy is also survived by his three sons, Ronnie, Michael and Jonathan Woodard, four grandchildren & two great grandchildren, and his sister, Linda Napier.
