Born May 27, 1946, at St. Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL, Joan Linda Seal, 78, of West Palm Beach, passed away January 30, 2025, after an extended illness. Joan attended Southboro Elementary, Conniston Junior High and Forest Hill High Schools in West Palm Beach, FL, Florida Presbyterian College in St. Petersburg, FL, and was a graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, where she was a member of Phi Delta Kappa sorority. Joan taught algebra and geometry at Twin Lakes and Palm Beach Lakes High Schools until her retirement in 1994. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond W. and Anna M. Seal; and survived by her sisters Janet Ann (Warren) Criswell of Benton, AR, and Yvonne Elaine (Michael) Brunet of Palm Springs, FL; nieces Michele (Troy) Neblett of Grottoes, VA, Kae (Daniel) Barron of Benton, AR, and Kim (Kevin, deceased) King of Sherwood, AR; nephew, Anthony (Erica) Brunet, of Port St. Lucie, FL; as well as four cousins and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Joan was a resident of Fountainview in West Palm Beach from 2005 until her death, assisted there the last seven years by Yorladys (Jolie) Giraldo, José Baquero and Matthew Baquero.
