 I grew up as a kid with Jack and all the wills family. Although it has been years I have fond memories. My prayers to the Wills family.

Dear John~
You will be missed so very much.  All of the wonderful things you have done for me and others will stay in our hearts forever.  I could never thank you for all the help you gave me with my house.  You were there from the begining when we worked together on the porch rails, we thought we would never get done, but we did.  Everytime I paint them I remember you and I putting them together.   You will always be in my heart, you have such a sweet sweet spirit.  You kept me going when my husband died.  I wish I could have been there for you.  Love "Granny"

   I will never forget the lovely porch Jack fixed for me and odds and ends that needed fixing he always was willing to help. He had a Big Heart and Great Smile, we will never forget.

I have given alot of thought to what a would write here but no words can express the sorrow I feel for Laura and her family!  I met Jack a few times in quick passing while he visited Laura at work but never had a chance to get to know him. With that being said Laura always shares her life stories with her "other" family through these stories that Laura shares with us at work I have gotten to know Jack and the love that Laura shares for her husband and family! My heart has been very heavy for the past week knowing that she has lost her best friend for life! Rest In Peace Jack ! I hope to live my dash (life) as well as you lived yours!    With love Misty

This took me a while to write due to the heaviness in my heart.  You each know how much you mean to us.  I too am one of those that have a piece of Jack's expertise in my house.  I will never forget him showing up early, putting me to work as well, working through lunch (not me, just him) music blaring, him singing along, me joining in when i knew the song, and not stopping til dark.  And i won't mention the joke of me falling off a ladder he made.  He had such an awesome way of being so quiet, then a zinger would come out and back to quiet.  He will be soo missed by everyone.  He gave so much without complaint, it is now your turn Laura to let us take care of you!  love each and everyone one of you....forever in our hearts

To a great carpenter and a special person in my company throughout the years working with me, your talents where remarkable and not only being a important person in my company you where a great friend and very loyal to your work and you should be proud of what you have achived.  I wll miss you a lot and think of you always when i go into various areas of my home to see the work you have done for me.  Thank you John.

I'm sad to hear this news about Jack. This is a very special family and I know how deeply they must feel this loss. I remember growing up with Jack, Julie, Lisa and Cindy and remember them as being a special part of our lives. We continue to pray for this family as they search to find peace during this difficult time.

Dewey, I'm very sorry for the loss of your cousin. From what others have written and the pictures of him, I can see he was a kind-hearted man who was well loved.  My prayers and thoughts are with you and your entire family during this time.

I am so saddened by the loss of my friend Jack.  I have known him for over 20 years and my house will always be the house that Jack rebuilt.  Everything I touch or see in my house Jack either built it, fixed it or assembled it for me and especially now, I feel his presence everywhere. I am so grateful to have had him in my life! 

Jack was always so honest, trustworthy, funny, witty, quite a decent singer and always there for me.  He was always the first one to call if a storm was approaching asking if I wanted my hurricane boards put up; boards that he had custom made for my house.  That was just how he was, kind and giving of himself and his time.  He was a man of many talents and I knew any job he did for me was going to be done right.  It was an honor to have shared in his life, listened to his stories and enjoyed his laughter.  I will sincerely miss our visits.

But we must keep reminding ourselves that although we feel this loss deeply Jack is at peace and is in a better place.  My heart and prayers go out to Laura, his family and friends whom I share this loss with.  I will never forget the man I knew as Jack!

I was so sorry to hear about Jack. I considered him my best friend growing up. We spent countless hours designing, rebuilding and racing anything we could find that had wheels or a motor.
Although we drifted apart in our adult years due to work and family responsibilities, Jack always stayed close to my heart.
He is a familiar household name as my children have had to endure the stories of our neighborhood adventures.
My prayers and thoughts are with the entire Wills family as we all share in the sorrow of his passing.

My thoughts, prayers and love are with you all, it was my honor to be a part of the family and to be able to share my life with you all. I want to thank you all for sharing yours and always making feel like a member of the family not an in law. John is a special person in my life and I'll carry his memory with me always just as I will each of you. My heart is heavy with his loss but my life is more complete because he was in it. I will always remember his smile, sense of humor and willingness to help anyone anytime. His unslefishly gave to everyone without question or hesitation. He is the rarest of people, just like each of you. Though I moved back to Georgia shortly after high school, I never forgot the huge impression he made on my life.  He blessed so many people as did the whole Wills family. So very sorry to hear of this tremendous loss.  For over thirty years I never saw John without a smile, he was ready for a laugh and always willing to lend a hand.  I am thankful that John was a part of our lives, generous with his friendship and a wonderful friend to my brother.  Oh the stories they told and the adventures they had, great memories for everyone.  John will be forever in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
