Julio Orlando Ramos

Julio Orlando Ramos age 83 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on June 4, 2013 and was led to the Gates of Heaven by his grandson, Alexander Perez who has been waiting since July 29, 2001. Julio was born in Camaguey Cuba on May 27, 1930 to the late Mr. Jose Maria Ramos and the late Mrs. Rosa Ramos-Insagura. Forty years ago Julio moved his family from Cuba to the United States of America to become a Citizen of this country and he began a career as a General Mechanic for the Sugar Cane Growers in Belle Glade, Florida, where he retired after thirty five years of faithful service. In his spare time he loved to watch baseball games; keep up with the Spanish Soap Opera "Telenovella's"; and help in raising his grandchildren. Julio will be remembered as a loving, compassionate person with a big bright smile and firm handshake. "A family man above all other things!" He leaves to forever cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Dulce Mateo Ramos of West Palm Beach, FL; his three loved children, Belkis Perez and her spouse, Jose of West Palm Beach, Florida, Tania Savaglia and her spouse, Reuben of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, Julia Diaz and her spouse, Alfredo of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida; five adored grandchildren, Shannon Godoy of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, Jorge Savaglia of Ft. Hood, Texas, Alfredo Diaz of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, Jennifer Perez of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Valentina Diaz of Lake Clarke Shores; one precious great granddaughter, Arina Godoy of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida; and his admired brother, Angel Rodriquez of Cuba. Family and friends will gather and pay respects beginning on Friday, June 7, 2013 starting at 6PM and continuing all night until the following day, when a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:15PM, Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Mizell-Faville-Zern Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405, (561) 833-4061.
